In early 2015, our Shed became involved in an inter-generational mentor program between year 7 & 8 students, from Mt Eliza Secondary College, and men from our Shed.  

This program involved the students teaching some of our members how to properly use Apple devices.   

We then progressed to cutting up wood and helping these students to put together micro-bat boxes and 
sugar-glider nesting boxes.

Both of the students and the men from our shed have learned a lot from each-other, and gained a mutual respect for each-others abilities. An extremely worthwhile exercise!!!

We have to thank Bunnings for their incredible donation of timber and paint, with a special thanks to their fantastic Activities Coordinator, Jenny, who also got her hands dirty helping with the assembly.
